Complete these steps to analyze the results of your average adjusted typing speed.

1.            In your Typing Test Results spreadsheet, find your average adjusted typing speed. TIP: It's in the Average Adjusted Speed row, under the Adjusted Speed column.

2.            The average person types around 36 wpm. Compare your average to the average typing speed of most people. Are you slower, faster, or about the same? TIP: It's okay if you're slower. You'll improve the more you practice.

3.            In the Adjusted Speed column, look at the numbers from top to bottom. Is your adjusted speed improving by getting faster? If not, you may want to review the Improving Your Keyboarding Skills page from the first section of this course.
