Your spreadsheet is formatted like a grid to help you enter your data in columns and rows, but the lines you see on the screen do not print.

You have the ability to add printable borders to the cells in your spreadsheet.  

Borders can be added to single cells or a group of cells.  In the same sense, you can also add shading with colors of your choice to help define or add emphasis to certain areas of the spreadsheet.
