Windows and Tabs
7th Grade Computer Literacy

A window is what you see on the screen when you open Chrome or other software programs.

Chrome has many different menus, tools, and other features.

You'll use the Chrome window to access websites.

Chrome has tabs that show you how many websites are open in a window.

Clicking the New Tab Button to the right of an open tab lets you add more tabs to a window, and clicking and dragging tabs to the left or right lets you change the order of tabs in a window.

Adding tabs to a Chrome window lets you have two or more web pages open in the same window
