You can
use word processing software to take on any project involving text. This includes writing and formatting reports, essays,
letters, memos, and more. Some popular word processing
applications are Microsoft Word, Apple iWork Pages, OpenOffice.org Writer, LibreOffice Writer, and Google Docs. You have
probably heard of Microsoft Word. We have used it for many years in the Nashua Schools. In this course however we
will use Google Docs instead of Microsoft Word. This will allow you to work 'in the cloud' as you learn about word processing.
