Word Wrap
7th Grade Computer Literacy

By default, when a word processing document is open a flashing cursor appears at the top of the screen. This cursor is where text will show when it’s typed. The cursor moves to the right as you type, and text shows up in its place. When space runs out at the right edge of the screen, the flashing cursor automatically moves down to the next line. This is called Word Wrap. Word Wrap allows the user to type continually without having to press ENTER at the end of each line. Of course, there will be times when you want to start a new line. In this instance, you can press the ENTER key and the flashing cursor will move to the next line for you.
