Average, Max, and Min
7th Grade Computer Literacy

Now you will use the FUNCTIONS BUTTON to quickly display the most and least expensive items as well as the average cost of each item purchased:

  1. Click once on the cell with the label AMOUNT LEFT OVER
  2. Press the DOWN ARROW 2 times
  3. Type Most Expensive and press the RIGHT ARROW 1 time
  4. Use the MAX function to find the highest priced item (from Column B)
  5. Click once in the cell below the label MOST EXPENSIVE
  6. Type Least Expensive and press the RIGHT ARROW 1 time
  7. Use the MIN function to find the lowest priced item (from Column B)
  8. Click once in the blank cell below the label LEAST EXPENSIVE
  9. Type Average and press the RIGHT ARROW 1 time
  10. Use the AVERAGE function to find the average cost of all items (from Column B)
